We are celebrating the long and proud sporting heritage of Petersham Park with new artwork on the Grandstand water tank.

Part of the Perfect Match Street Art Program, the artwork will feature one of the Inner West's historic sporting trailblazers - cricketer Mollie 'the Demon' Flaherty.

Before painting begins, we want to hear from you. Tell us which of the park's plants and wildlife you think should also be included in the design.

You can also meet the artist, Kelly Wallwork, at the Grandstand water tank on Saturday 22 May 1-3pm. Come chat with her about her inspiration and design process.

Final day for suggestions is Thursday, 27 May 2021.
