Henson Park is a well used multi purpose park with several facilities used by organised groups and the community. In 2019 we've asked for your feedback to help us create a 10-year Plan for Henson Park.

What is happening now?

We have developed a draft Plan of Management and Master Plan with community input. It is now your chance to let us know if we got it right.

All those who provide feedback will be notified when the Council will consider the plans. The Park will be progressively upgraded over the next 10-years.

Did you provide feedback about Petersham Park? Read the Engagement Outcomes Report doc to find out what we heard.

The feedback will be used along with other information to develop the Plan of Management and Master Plan. These documents will outline how we will care and manage the park over the next 10 years. You will have a further opportunity to provide feedback on the draft documents when they are placed on public exhibition in early 2021.

Council will make sure noise and disruption are kept to a minimum by enforcing hours of work from 7am-5.30pm Monday to Friday, and 7am-1pm on Saturdays. Thank you for your patience during the construction period.
