In February this year we asked about your parking experiences in the Balmain East area. At the same time, we conducted parking surveys to determine occupancy levels. We used this information to develop the draft Parking Strategy which includes short and long term actions to help manage parking issues.


What's in the strategy?

The table below outlines short and long term actions Council will implement to manage parking in this area.

What happens next?

Your feedback will be reviewed and where relevant incorporated into the Parking Strategy which will be considered by the Local Traffic Committee. The recommendations from this Committee will be referred to Council for decision. All those who provided feedback will be advised when the matter will be considered by the Committee and of the outcome of Council's decision.
