Rozelle North - improving safety and managing traffic

Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Linkedin Email this link

We've come up with some proposals to manage traffic and improve walking and cycling in Rozelle North. The proposals are our response to a study of traffic volumes, vehicle speeds, heavy vehicle use, crash statistics and local knowledge and experiences shared by the Rozelle North community in March 2020.

We'd like to know what you think of these proposals. Watch the videos below for an explanation of the traffic calming and safety measures from our traffic management planner, Sunny Jo.

Our study area is bounded by the water front, Young Street, Darling Street and Victoria Road.

We will consider all feedback on the proposed treatments before refining and finalising the Rozelle North LATM Plan. The Plan will be placed on public exhibition for final community feedback before it is considered by elected Council in February 2021.

Once the Plan is adopted by Council, a schedule for implementing it will be developed.
