Due to safety concerns caused by tree roots, North Street Playground is currently closed and will remain closed until the upgrade works are complete – approximately 5-6 months. Council will begin by demolishing the existing playground to understand the extent of the tree root issue. This information will be provided to the contractor to assist in designing a safe and sustainable upgrade.
