Inner West Council voted unanimously to formally apply to have central Leichhardt officially renamed Little Italy.
Council will apply to the Geographic Names Board to have a precinct including Norton and Marion Streets designated as Little Italy. The Geographic Names Board will review the application and, if accepted, will undertake their own engagement process for 28 days.
