Council staff will incorporate community feedback received throughout the public exhibition period in the final InnerWest@40 study. Should the revised draft study be adopted by Council, Council will submit InnerWest@40 to the State Government for their support.

Next steps of the action plan are:

• Submit InnerWest@40 to Transport for NSW to receive their endorsement;
• Introduce LGA wide roll-out of signage and linemarking to identify new speed zoning areas;
• Begin a messaging campaign to notify the Community of changes;
• Monitor and review the outcomes of InnerWest@40; and
• Work with TfNSW to find opportunities to introduce 30km/hr speed zones across the LGA.
