Council decision
Following the public exhibition Council will consider a report including all feedback and decide whether to adopt the Climate Strategy.
Your feedback, along with other input, will help shape the Climate Strategy. You’ll have another chance to have your say when the Climate Strategy is opened for public comment. Everyone who provides feedback will be notified when it’s ready to view.
We know climate change is one of the biggest challenges we face. That’s why we’re committed to working with the community to reduce our impact and help build a better future.
Our Climate Strategy will build on our existing 2019 Climate and Renewables Strategy. It will outline what the current challenges are, and what actions council will take to reduce emissions and drive initiatives that help tackle climate change.
Last day to provide feedback is Wednesday 27 May 2026.
What are some of the things we are doing tackle climate change?
