Resident letter
What is being proposed?
Council is proposing to extend time restrictions on the M4 Residential Parking Scheme into existing and new streets. The table below lists the streets marked for changes.
| Streets | Existing Restrictions in Area M4 | New Restrictions in Area M4 |
| Bridge St., Frederick St., George St., Grove St., Henry St., Leslie St., Park Road, Sutherland St., Terry St., Yelverton St. | 2P 8.30am-6pm, Mon-Fri, Permit Holders Excepted | 2P 8am-10pm, Permit Holders Excepted |
| Rowe Lane | 4P 8.30am-6pm, Mon-Fri, Permit Holders Excepted | 4P 8am-10pm, Permit Holders Excepted |
| George St., Samuel St. and Terry St. | No restrictions | 2P 8am-10pm, Permit Holders Excepted |
The new signs will read:
- 2P 8am-10pm, Permit Holders Excepted, Area M4; or
- 4P 8am-10pm, Permit Holders Excepted, Area M4 (Rowe Lane only)
This means:
- Existing time restrictions will be extended from 8am to 10pm for the entire week (including weekends).
- Vehicles that display a valid Area M4 parking permit are exempt from restrictions.
- Statutory 10 metre ‘No Stopping’ restrictions will be installed at all intersections if they are not already in place as required by NSW Road Rules.
