What is this notice for?
Inner West Council, as the roads authority, proposes to lease an unused portion of Swamp Road, Tempe pursuant to section 153 of the Roads Act 1993 (NSW), being a portion adjacent to Lots 5 and 6 in Deposited Plan 1258949.
The unused portion of Swamp Road, Tempe which is proposed to be leased is shown in the below plan and coloured dark green.

What happens next?
In accordance with s156 of the Roads Act 1993 (NSW), after considering any submissions that have been duly made with respect to the proposed lease, the roads authority may grant the lease, either with or without alteration, or may refuse to grant the lease. At the end of the exhibition period all those who provided feedback will be notified of the outcome.
