Summer Hill Community Centre - proposed lease agreement


Council has resolved to enter into a three year lease (plus a two year option) with the existing operators of the Summer Hill Community Centre.

Who are the existing operators?

Summer Hill Community Centre Incorporated (SHCCI) has occupied the purpose-built Community Centre at 131 Smith Street, Summer Hill for over 10 years. The SHCCI has provided the residents of the local government area with a range of services to benefit the local and broader community during this time.

    An agreement with SHCCI has been made until June 2018. The lease is currently under review as part of the Inner West Council Land & Property Strategy and the outcomes of this will be known in April 2018.
