Key features of the planning proposal on public exhibition
- to allow landuse on the site for office premises and business premises/recreation facilities (indoors) /self-storage units
by amending the Ashfield Local Environmental Plan.
Council carried out a preliminary public exhibition of this planning proposal in 2016. It was resolved to send the proposal to the State Government (Greater Sydney Commission) requesting approval to proceed to public exhibition. The GSC recently granted that approval and delegated the making of the plan to Council.

What happens next
After the exhibition closes, your feedback will be reported to Council which will determine whether or not to progress the planning proposal to the final stages of the process which leads amending the Ashfield LEP 2013. You will be advised in writing of the meeting if you make a submission.
