Between 16 March and 30 April 2023 we asked for your local knowledge about places you love to walk and cycle, missing blue and green connections, ecological and cultural features and areas that are too hot. The Engagement Outcomes Report summarises community comments received.

Key points on the engagement methods and results:

• The Your Say Inner West project page was viewed 2,750 times
• 355 contributions were collected via the interactive map
• 158 people attended info sessions around the LGA and left 372 ideas and insights
• The three most common themes captured across the engagement were effective active transport networks, access to water and rewilding open spaces.

Feedback gathered from the first round of engagement will help to ensure that the planning and design of the Blue-Green Grid Strategy is grounded in community aspirations and values. The outcomes from the engagement will inform and guide the project team as they work to create a first draft of the Inner West Blue-Green Grid map and Strategy.
