Council is proposing to install a ‘No Left Turn’ restriction from New Canterbury Road into Denison Road during morning peak periods.

What is included in this proposal?

The Dulwich Hill North Local Area Traffic Management (LATM) study adopted by Council in 2017, identified a rat-run for vehicles to avoid high traffic volumes on New Canterbury Road during morning peak periods.

To alleviate this Council is proposing to install a ‘No Left Turn’ 6.30-9am MON-FRI’ on New Canterbury Road into Denison Road, Dulwich Hill as shown below.

This proposal will restrict the left turn from New Canterbury Road into Denison Road between 6.30am and 9am, Monday to Friday. This sign is proposed to face eastbound (citybound) motorists on New Canterbury Road.

There are no other proposed turning restrictions with the proposal.
