JF Laxton Reserve in Union Street Dulwich Hill, is a popular park with dog walking areas, shade trees and a playground.

As part of the adopted 10-year plan we are upgrading the playground at the reserve and we want to know your thoughts on the design.

The feedback we receive during the consultation will inform the new playground design. This could include

  • Selection of play equipment
  • Range of play experiences
  • Seating, shade and furniture in the playground area

As part of the adopted 10-year plan, Council is also:

  • Improving lighting along pathway that runs adjacent to Arlington Oval
  • Improving the BBQ shelter facility.
  • Improving park furniture.
  • Improving BBQ facilities.
  • Providing additional seating opportunities within park
  • Updating signage and wayfinding across the site
  • Upgrading existing lighting to energy efficient lighting.


These works are scheduled to take place in September 2025 weather permitting.

All feedback received will be reviewed and consolidated into a report. Everyone who participated will be notified of the outcomes.

The feedback captured will inform the design plans for the future upgrades of this playground.

Construction is scheduled to take place by the end of 2025.
