Council has endorsed the public exhibition of the Inner West Council draft Busking Policy

About the policy

Busking plays an important role in bringing together the community through creativity and performance. Council is working to ensure a cohesive and consolidated approach to activate civic and community spaces through busking in the Inner West.

Inner West Council has reviewed former Council policies to develop an Inner West Council draft Busking Policy. Council wants to support local performers and activate public spaces and therefore the policy has recommended no fee for busking applications.
