Project details

Between July and October 2023, Council trialled the the flood lights at Henson Park to turn on from 5pm and remain on until 8pm every night.

We are inviting you to provide your feedback about the trial. Your feedback will be evaluated and a decision will be made whether the changes to the lighting will remain permanent.

What were the trial conditions?

  • The four flood lights surrounding the park were on from 5pm until 8pm every night
  • During sports training, the lights remained on until 9pm

What happens next?

All feedback received will be consolidated into a report and everyone who provided feedback will be notified. A decision will be made on if the lighting trail conditions will be made permanent.
