At Council's meeting on 12 September 2023, it was decided that Council adopt the Plan of Management for Hammond Park subject to:

1. Amending all references in the Masterplan to the cricket pitch to say "The current cricket pitch will be replaced in its current location with either a new "synthetic" or "roll out" pitch.
2. Amending all references in the Masterplan to clarify as follows; "upgrade and expand existing amenities to include toilets changing rooms and storage areas for sporting teams that are accessible and inclusive."

The Plan of Management and Master Plan is now current and implimentations will occur over the next 10 years.
