Expression of Interest for Inner West Recovery Taskforce

Inner West Council is calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from members of the community for the Inner West Recovery Taskforce (IWRT).

The taskforce will plan and coordinate the post-COVID-19 economic recovery of the Inner West and maximise the local effect and delivery of State and Federal relief and stimulus measures.

About the IWRT

The taskforce will be chaired by Inner West Mayor Darcy Byrne.

The IWRT will meet regularly to make recommendations to Council for initiatives that assist with the recovery of the local economy.

Potential members of the taskforce should have experience and skills

Applications close Monday, 1 June 2020, 5pm.


What happens next?

Everyone who submits an EOI will be informed about the outcome of their application.

    At its meeting on 9 June 2020 Council considered nominations to the Inner West economic recovery taskforce. Eight community members were chosen from the expression of interest pool.
