Project details

Under the Local Government Act 1993, Council is required to annually review the policy of providing civic expenses and facilities to Councillors that enable them to effectively carry out their duties.

Council at its meeting on 3 July 2018 resolved to make changes to and place on public exhibition the Councillor Expenses and Facilities Policy.

Hard copies of the draft are also available at Council’s Service Centres and libraries.

What happens next?

A report on the submissions received will be prepared and the policy, along with any amendments, will be submitted to Council for adoption.
