Project details

As more people choose to call the Inner West home, we are committed to building sustainable, walkable and connected communities for generations to come.

That’s why Inner West Council will invest more than $500 million over the next 15 years to deliver the infrastructure our growing community needs. This fund will be used for things like new open spaces, upgrading existing open space, active transport links and community facilities like libraries and community centres.

We want to hear from you about how this funding should be invested to help shape the future of the Inner West.

Prioritise community infrastructure

You have 100 points to allocate to key projects you’d like to see built in our community.

How would you prioritise what matters most?

Use our online tool below to allocate your points across key infrastructure projects like parks, road improvements, town centre upgrades and more.

Put all your points into one project or spread them out across multiple (you cannot exceed 100 points). Let us know which infrastructure we should focus on delivering for our community.

State Government Infrastructure

While Inner West Council is responsible for many local services and facilities, some infrastructure such as hospitals, schools and public transport networks are managed by the State Government.

Complete this short survey below the budget tool, to let us know if there are any State Government projects you would like us to advocate for.

To use the points tool, place a pin on the map or complete the submissions form please create an account to join, or login to an existing account. The Your Say Inner West account is separate from other Council accounts.
