Council has endorsed the public exhibition of the draft Memorial Planting and Plaques policy.


About the policy

The Memorial Planting and Plaques policy establishes eligibility and the selection criteria for memorial plantings and for the installation of plaques on seats in the public domain. The draft policy also gives direction on historical markers and interpretative signage.

The policy does not apply to privately owned spaces and places within Local Government Area, nor to public space within Inner West not owned by the Inner West Council.
