Inner West Council’s Community-Led Celebration Day (Multicultural Communities) Grants Program provides financial support to local communities to plan and deliver celebrations of national cultures or national days of cultural significance across the Inner West.

Council will consider all feedback at its meeting on Tuesday, 26 March 2019 and decide whether to adopt the final Community-Led Celebration Day (Multicultural Communities) Grants Guidelines 2019. All those who provided feedback will be advised when the guidelines are considered by Council.

    Council has adopted the Multicultural Small Grants Program. The grants program provides financial support to plan and deliver celebrations of national cultures or national days of cultural significance to local communities across the Inner West. Formats vary but may include an official component, music, dancing and entertainment activities, recognition of community or individual achievements and culturally significant refreshments.

    Multicultural small grants of up to $5,000 are available annually.
