What happens next

Following the completion of the evaluation process, a report on the trial will be submitted to Council. The Councillors will take into consideration all feedback gathered during the evaluation and decide whether or not the trial off leash area will be made permanent and if so, under what conditions.
Council is also undertaking an assessment of the safety and accessibility of neighbouring townhouses, adjacent to Elliott Park, as per the Council resolution.

The existing trial conditions will remain in operation pending Council’s decision.
