  • Lori Short Reserve to feature in description of Tempe Reserve

    The Geographical Names Board advised Council that they are unable to name a reserve within a reserve if they are not separate entities. Because of this, Council approved a recommendation to feature Lori Short Reserve as part of the description for Tempe Recreation Reserve.

    Council approved the proposal to name part of Tempe Recreation Reserve as Lori Short Reserve at an Extraordinary Council meeting held on 28 April 2015. An application has since been lodged with the Geographical Names Board of NSW which we are awaiting a decision on.
