Proposed licence to Sydney Water to occupy part of Tempe Reserve

Marrickville Council proposes to enter into a licence with Sydney Water to authorise use of part of Tempe Reserve, being that part adjacent to Alexandra Canal.

The purpose of the licence, which will operate for 6–12 months, is to allow Sydney Water to erect a site compound for offices and storage facilities and to carry out infrastructure works to the Alexandra Canal bank.

The road and cycleway adjacent to the Canal will not be accessible during the licence period and alternate access arrangements will be in place.
