Princes Highway, St Peters - improving on-street parking


Council is proposing to introduce a section of timed parking at the front of 91 to 97 Princes Highway, St Peters to increase the availability of on-street parking. The proposal involves reducing the existing mail zone outside St Peters Post Office from 13.5 metres to 7.5 metres and introducing of a section of “½P 10am-6pm Mon-Fri” parking for a distance of 17 metres - see diagram.

What happens next?


The proposal will be considered at a meeting of the Council’s Pedestrian, Cyclist and Traffic Calming Advisory Committee on 12 November 2015. The recommendations from this Committee meeting will be referred to Council’s Infrastructure, Planning and Environmental Services Committee at its meeting on 1 December 2015 for consideration.
