Improving safety for pedestrians and traffic at the intersection of Myra Road and The Parade, Dulwich Hill

This project has concluded

Council is proposing to construct a refuge island and a landscaped kerb blister at the intersection of Myra Road and The Parade to improve safety for pedestrians and road users. The safety works also include signs and linemarking.

These works were developed after input from the community during the planning phase of the Dulwich Hill South Local Area Traffic Management (LATM) Scheme. The LATM has been been endorsed in principal by Council. Now more detailed plans are being developed.

As part of this proposal, some on-street parking will be replaced by new no stopping zones.

These zones will improve safety by providing a clearer view of traffic conditions for all users. They will also create better traffic flow

You can view the plans here.
