Improving safety and calming traffic in south west Marrickville

Marrickville Council proposes to improve safety and calm traffic in nine locations (see map below) as part of the 'Riverside Local Area Traffic Management Strategy' which was endorsed by Council in April 2014 following public consultation.

8. Jersey Street at Moyes Street – Install centerline and raingarden

9. Livingstone Road at Hill Street – Install three pedestrian refuges

    What happens next?

    All the proposals will be considered by Council’s Pedestrian, Cyclist and Traffic Calming Advisory Committee at its meeting to be held on 11 December 2014.  The recommendations from this Committee meeting will then be referred to Council’s Infrastructure, Planning and Environmental Services Committee at its meeting to be held on 3 February 2015.  All comments made will be taken into consideration by Council prior to finalising the plans.

    What happens next?
