Improving parking in Yule Street, Dulwich Hill

Improving parking in Dulwich Hill - proposal to modify angle parking on Yule Street

Council is currently investigating a proposal to replace the existing 45⁰ angle parking on Yule Street located between New Canterbury Road and Fairfowl Street, with 90⁰ angle parking including line marking of all parking bays. This proposal has been developed following numerous concerns received from local residents regarding the lack of available on-street parking and motorists not parking their vehicle on a 45⁰ angle.

This proposal would provide 25 marked 90⁰ angle parking bays, and would result in increased on-street parking opportunities. It should be noted that the current 45⁰ angle parking arrangement provides approximately 17-22 parking bays, depending on the spacing between vehicles. The map on the previous page details the proposed changes.

Please note that Council has not yet made a commitment to any changes to the existing parking arrangements in your street. Should you wish to provide any comments regarding the proposal, please fill in the submission form below.
