Driveways - who does what?
Under
Section 218 of the Roads Act 1993, the property owner is responsible for a
driveway and is liable for all construction and maintenance costs from the
property boundary to the road. However, as the works are being initiated by
Council, any affected driveways will be
reconstructed at Council’s expense if required.
