Council has endorsed the public exhibition of the draft Code of Meeting Practice
The State Government has released a Model Code of Meeting Practice for all NSW Councils. Inner West Council has six months in which to adopt the Code. Council has revised its Code in line with the NSW Model Code.
Council is seeking your feedback on the draft Code of Meeting Practice. Please note that Council can only amend or supplement non-mandatory provisions in the code and any additional provisions must be consistent with the mandatory provisions outlined in this code. The non-mandatory provisions are in red in the draft document.

Last day to provide feedback is 12 March 2019
Council will consider all feedback at its meeting on 26 March and adopt the Code of Meeting Practice. All those who provided feedback will be advised when the policy will be considered by Council.
