Traffic management plans for west Marrickville

Following community consultation, Marrickville Council has developed a draft Local Area Traffic Management (LATM) plan to address key concerns about traffic, pedestrian and cycling facilities for the West Marrickville area. The boundary of this area is Wardell Road, Frazer Street, Sydenham Road, Illawarra Road and the Bankstown Railway line.

How was the Draft LATM plan prepared?

Council developed the plan using information from:

- a survey distributed to more than 4,524 households and businesses, and

- a review of traffic volumes, vehicle speeds, heavy vehicle use and crash statistics for the area.

Read more about how the plan was developed in the Draft Study Report.
